Mistake of father and address in itr-1

07 August 2013 My friend filed ITR-1 for A.Y-2013-14 on 30thjuly,2013. Later he founds mistake in his address and his father name. What he should do? Is he required to file a revised return.???Address mentioned in ITR is per address of Pan.But,there is mistake in fathers name..

07 August 2013 As such there is no need to file a revised return. These are minor errors which are not relevant.

However, if there is a major error n father's name then you can revise the return.
