Mistake in e-payment

Dear Sir,
there is mistake in e-payment challan under central excise.
we should paid the amount in code (basic excise duty)0003 instead of code (Other receipt)0087.
for this we wrote the letter to PAO for rectification but they refused it.
Someone suggested me to write the letter to EPAO chennai. But we are unable to trace the contact no. of the EPAO chennai.
Kindly guide us to resolve the issue.

If you have make the duty payment in wrong head then you need to apply for refund.
