Mismatch in form 16 part a and part b

Hello,
The "Amount Paid/ Credited" figure in Part A of Form 16 is not matching with the salary details as per Part B. I seek advise on what is the reason of mismatch and how to rectify the same. Also which figure of Part B i.e. (i) Gross Salary or (ii) Gross Total Income or (iii)Total Inocme, should match with "Amount Paid / Credited" as shown in Part A.

Part B of form 16 is generated by the employer which gives the proper income & tax calculations should match with salary annexure filed in Q4
Form 16 Part A which download from TRACES website generated based on your TDS returns for all 4 quarters. the Part B income and amount paid/credited shown in Part A may not match exactly. because amount paid/credited shown in part A is gross salary, how ever income shown in part B is the salary income after considering the allowable deductions and exemptions
