Mis quote of my pan no by someone else

08 August 2013 Dear Sir,

One IT Company Wrongly Quoted my Pan Number in their Form 26AS Salary TDS Certificate for Salary amounting to lakhs of Rs.

Recently i have received incometax Notice to file for the same amount.

Please advice me.

08 August 2013 Just write a letter in response to the Notice of Income Tax Department stating the facts with a C/C to that company.

Do not worry you will not face any problems. Its the mistake of deductor and not yours.
