Minor Income Tax Return

22 July 2010 1.Is is necessary to file a return for a minor (having PAN) whose income is clubbed with his parent. Income is not from his personal skill or knowledge.

2.If the return is to filed, whether we have to give the details of income to be clubbed in the Minor's return or a NIL return has to be filed?

22 July 2010 NO NEED FILE RETURN FOR MINOR.
INCOME OF MONIR WILL BE CLUBBED TO HIS/HER PARENTS, WHOSE INCOME IS GREATER.

22 July 2010 No. Minor's PAN will be quoted in the return of his parent and it will not be a case of non-filing of Return.
