If you've filed your Income Tax Return (ITR) through an approved intermediary and noticed minor errors such as incorrect address details or spelling mistakes, you generally do not need to file a revised return. The tax authorities will primarily rely on your PAN details, which should remain unaffected by these minor discrepancies. This should alleviate concerns about the errors impacting your official records.

I got my ITR filed through an IT approved E_Return Intermediary . While income and tax figures appear to be correctly shown, I have noticed errors in Address, spellings etc. Is it better to file a Revised ITR ?

Thank you, Sir for your quick reply. I was afraid that the errors would affect the details available with PAN (i.e. exactly opposite!) My sincere regards
