Dear Sir,
Can anyone tell me the minimum wages per month in tamilnadu for the AY 2016-17.
Also in what basis the minimum wages should be calculated , is it a gross pay or net pay ?

Minimum wages vary from industry to industry. Also it depends skilled, unskilled, semi skilled etc, some state in Karnataka minimum wage is. Based zone, skill, industry parameters considered.
Minimum wage is basic+VDA it is calculated gross rate perday.
