11 December 2010 If qualified person not interested in practice as CA, & not obtained membership number, whether it is compulsory on his part to register with ICAI as a member? what are the complication if he not register himself?

12 December 2010 There is no compulsion for a CA (final) passed to become member of the institute. There won't be any complication in that. But i think you cant add even 'CA' after your name leave alone 'ACA'

If you use any the Institue may initiate action against you
