30 August 2014 Dear Experts please tell me whether it is necessary for a CA to take membership if he is in industry. And what are the pros and cons of not taking the membership.

30 August 2014 Only a person who is enrolled as a member with ICAI is called a CA.
A person who has cleared the final exams but not obtained membership is NOT a CA.
Most companies ask for membership number.
If you do not have membership number most companies will not employ you.
