Please provide, whether meeting of Audit committee can be held through video conferencing and it is valid or not

Companies Act,1956 does not envisage holding Board level meeting through electronic medium be it vedio conferencing or such other medium. However, the Companies Bill 2009 has some provisions but not really relevant at this point of time. In view of this, as per my understanding, audit committee meting cannot be held through video conferencing.
