HI FRNNDS,,,
my client opted for mediclaim from New India Assurance. But when saw d receipt, in dat the perion was from 19-02-2008 to 19-08-2009. Can my client claim deduction u/s 80D for the Financial Year 2007-2008???
pl clarify as early as possible.

Consider the date of payment of premium for the purpose of deduction.

yes,he can coz premium was paid during f.y.2007-08
