22 February 2010 1) For taxpayer, his/her spouse and dependent childen : 100% of premium paid subject to ceiling of a) Rs.20000 in the case of premium paid in respect of senior citizen (who has attained the age of 65 years or more)
b) Rs.15000 in other cases.

2) Addition deduction for parents of tax payer whether dependent or not :
100% of premium paid subject to ceiling of a) Rs.20000 in the case of premium paid in respect of senior citizen (who has attained the age of 65 years or more)
b) Rs.15000 in other cases.
