Dear Experts,
I have submitted the medical bills of Rs.15000/- to my company for the exemption u/s.10. But by mistake, they have not included this in Form 16 and they have filed the Form 24Q.
They have given me the Form 16 without giving the exemption of Rs.15000/-
Now, can I claim this 15000/- on my personal computation of income under the head salary.
Please guide..

if company has paid the above amount and included in your gross salary. Then only you can get the benifit.
It is better to to take a revised form 16 mentioning the fact.

If that 15000/- has been included in your Form 16 as salary income, you can always have your calculation & can deduct 15000/- from the head "income from salaries" given in your form 16

AGREED, IF COMPANY REIMBURSED YOU AGASINT THESE BILL AND TAKING THE AMOUNT REIMBURSED IN YOUR FORM 16, THEN YOU CAN CLAIM DEDUCITON FOR IT.
