26 September 2015 A registered mortgage is registering the document creating the charge on the property by the mortgagor in facor of lender, with sub-registrar. Equitable mortgage will not incur any stamp duty.Aug 15, 2014

26 September 2015 most of the banks are doing registered mortgage. The agreement to mortgage is duly registered with the Sub Registrar of proper jurisdiction, on duly stamped paper and paying the due registration charges
