under this section, there is a provision that every company shall hold 4 meetings of BOD every year.
here year means what??

Companies Act, 2013 does not specify whether it is calendar year or financial year. However Secretarial Standards -1 has clarified that it should be four meeting in a calendar year (Clause 2.2 of SS-1).
