What is the meaning of Term End Examination for the purpose of IGNOU?

1. A semester system divides the academic year into 2 terms of relatively equally lengths.
2. A trimester system divides the academic year into 3 terms of relatively equally lengths.
3. A quarter system divides the academic year into 4 terms of relatively equally lengths.
