Dear Kirtipal,
Mobilization advance is generally paid to contractors for moving their heavy machinery for the execution of a contract.
For eg: in drilling operations, a whole drilling ship needs to be moved to the drilling site. the advance paid to the drilling company for expenses for moving the ship to drilling site are referred to as mobilization expense.
Other examples can be moving of cranes etc.
