I am a PCC Student & planning to do MBA (finance) correspondence with CA. Is it necessary to inform the institue about MBA ?

IT IS NOT MANADATORY.BUT IF YOU ARE IN ARTICLES TRAINING OR AS IND. TRAINEE OR AUDIT ASST,IT IS A SAFE OPTION TO INFORM YOUR EMPLOYER/TRAINER/ MENTOR SO THAT EXAM./STUDY LEAVE PROBLEM WILL NOT BE THERE.

You must fill Form No. 112 and inform the ICAI. They have right to know if you are pursuing other courses.
