02 March 2012 gud evening to all experts,
i would like to know that i have ppf a\c in sbi bank 50000 . than will i take deduction of it. and this will include in 80 c 1 lakh amt.

02 March 2012 yes it is deductible from u r total income u/s 80c in 1 lakh limits.

02 March 2012 PPF investments are eligible for deduction u/s 80C and included in limit of 100000.

02 March 2012 now one can take deduction up to 1 lacs in ppf.

10 October 2021 When you have invested Rs. 50000/- in your PPF account, allowable deductionu/s. 80C will be only for Rs. 50,000/- (though the limit be higher)
