can you help me abt. income tax rates. means i want to know only that if i have no pen card and i m a salaried class person than will tds deduct 20.30 or 20.66 from my salary

06 March 2012 TDS will be deducted only if your taxable income exceeds Rs. 1,80,000 during the year.

TDS will be deducted @ 20.6% if you do not provide PAN.

06 March 2012 This is your employer mistake. He should deduct TDS bcz your income exceed 180,000. Pan card is mandatory in every field like deposit cash exceed 50000.
