good morning to all experts,
one of my employee named mukesh kumar.he could not submit his document ( rent paying sleep.madical bill etc.) than i was deduct his tds 8475. i issue his form 16.than few days ago he submit his all document. than my query is that can i calculate his tax iablity
now because he give me all their document. my means to say that after calculate his basic salary are change from form 16. so can i show his new total salary income in itr 1 after submitting his document.

If you want to issue a fresh Form 16 to the employee after considering the proofs submitted by him, you will have to revise your TDS return.
Alternatively, the employee can claim the same while filing his return.

By this time you must have deposited TDS amount. Employee can file the return and get refund.

you should have to advice him to file return and claim refund as excess tds deducted and if you are filing his return then you may know what to do !!
