27 September 2008 If book profit of a company exceeds Rs.1 crore the MAT cannot exceed following
(Rs 10 Lakh+Book profit-1Crore )+EC+SHEC

What is that meaning


28 September 2008 Suppose book profit of any company is 10200000 than MAT will be equal to

= (10,00,000+10200000-10000000)+2640+1320
= 1203960

Normal MAT =10% of 10200000+SC+EC+HEC
= 11,55,660

So here which ever is lower applicable and we have to pay calculated 11,56,660
