MAT or Minimum Alternate Tax is the Tax amount plus Surcharge has cmputed U/s 115JB. After calculation of MAT we have to add Ed. Cess to it.
This is in the refernce as while computing MAT Tax and Surcharge as computed under normal provisions are compared to tax on Book Profit. Thus Ed. Cess is to be added separately to MAT.
