Mandatory filing of itr 1 but filed manually

24 December 2012 Sir,
please suggest me what to do in following matter :
F.Y: 11-12,
Income only from salary having more than 10 Lakhs needs to file online e-return in ITR 1 and which is also mandatory, but have been filed manually. Now what should i do?
Please guide me.

25 December 2012 The manual return filed is not a valid return even though you may have a stamp and seal on it.
What you should do is efile the return online and write a letter to the Officer to whom you have submitted the return stating that the return filed manually be disregarded since you have filed it online.

26 December 2012 Dear,
No tension towards e-filing if your gross received from salary 10lakh.If you have already filed the manual return and acknowledge by the deptt along with the seal on the acknowledgement.so your are free from e-filing and wait for the assessment order by the department.No write any correspondence letter to the department towards this.
