ONE EMPLOYEE HAS CLAIMED LTA EXEMPTION THROUGH HIS EMPLOYER DURING THE YEAR 2011-2012 FOR THE LTA AVAILED BY HIM DURING THE MONTH OF OCTOBER 2011 FOR THE IST PART OF OF BLOCK YEAR 2010-2013.
AGAIN HE HAD TRAVELLED BY LTC IN THE MONTH OF MAY 2012 AND WANTS TO CLAIM EXEMPTION IN THE F.Y. 2012-2013 WHICH IS ALSO BELONGS TO THE 2ND PART OF THE BLOCK YEAR 2010-2013
KINDLY ADVISE WHETHER EMPLOYEER CAN ALLOW EXEMPTION FOR F.Y. 2012-2013 OR THE INDIVIDUAL SHOULD CLAIM FROM I.T. DEPARTMENT?

The employee get LTC twice in a block of four years. If the journey of May 2012, is the Second journey of the block, the employer may consider the exemption and should allow the same. .
