Lta claim on certificate from travel company

02 January 2014 Hi Everyone,

In Case of LTA we accept the Travel bills.

Suppose Employe done the traveling via Make my Trip.com and instead of bills he submitted the Travel Certificate from Travel Compny on their letter head duly signed & Stamped.

With below details

Amount for LTC (travel only) for the tour is limited to Rs XXX/- against Invoice IN1311B2SXXXXX dated 02nd December 2013.

This can be accepted ???

02 January 2014 Normally certificate will not be accepted. If the person has undertaken the journey he should be able to produce the bills.

As far as I know travel companies do not issue such certificates. It sounds fake to me.

Ask the employee to furnish the bills.
