I am software engineer.
In my company we don't have LTA component.
Can I claim it directly from IT department at the time of filing return?

You can not claim deduction if the company is not providing you the Leave Travel Allowance.
Deduction can be claimed out of the specific allowance granted and not from the other portion of your salary.
