(Querist)
04 March 2013 A couple (Husband & Wife) are working in a company. Now both are claiming LTA at a time. The persons going on travel during leave are same. As per rule, LTA is exempt u/s 10(5) with some conditions. In this regard, is there any problem to employee or employer as the persons travelling are same and both husband and wife are claiming LTA from the same company at the same time. Please guide in the matter.

06 March 2013 Once the reimbursement is genuine then there should not be a problem like one way can be claied by one and the return by the other.There should not be any duplicity in the reimbursement
