I have lost a C form of year 13-14 issued by our Customer from Tamilnadu. He is not able to provide me the duplicate copy of C Form, as he is a cancelled dealer now.
I have got the details of C Form no. and had verified it from tinxsys.com, but the department is not accepting the printout copy from tinxsys site, and imposed penalty,interest, and differential tax charges.
This is with reference to state of Karnataka an Practical situation may be useful to you. The C form was lost in transit and Customer has sent the scan copy which is not acceptable by sales tax officials. We have booked an complaint regarding the loosing of the forms. 2. In the stamp Paper we have enclosed the value xerox copy of the lost form, police complaint and an letter to our commissioner in detail about the form. then they have considered .
