Dear Experts,
May bank give loan to customers on basis of ITR 4s?

Bank generally Asks only for the copy of the return. There is no requirement for any specific ITR. So ITR4S should do.

Normally bank ask for BS/PL A/c along with acknowledgement of ITR, so make books of accounts.

Income tax Return form is prescribed by ITD as catogorywise.But only to file Income tax return is not sufficient,satisfactory proof of correct income.Your financial statement shows financial position. But it is not for mortage purpose. Other many factors are related to income.
