14 May 2012 WHAT ARE THE LEGAL PROCEEDING TO BE COMPLIED WITH AFTER GETTING APPROVAL FOR NAME CHANGE OF THE COMPANY UNDER EXCISE ACT? DOES THE COMPANY HAS TO REGISTER ITSELF FOR EXCISE AGAIN?

16 May 2012 you need to change your PAN based on which you can amend your RC.
There is no need to get the Regn. against. You have to inform all your supplier for name change so that thsay can raise invocies in correct name other wise at audit stage you might face problems in Cenvat Credit
