09 August 2010 I have received the LIC MATURITY amount in the f.Y.2009-10 in which section I have to shown the amount, in ITR-4 form where i have to shown this amount. I am not filed the return till date kindly help me.

09 August 2010 Under the provisions of section 10(10D) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, Maturity/Death claims proceeds of life insurance policy, including the sum allocated by way of bonus on such policy is exempted from income-tax. This amount will be shown in
EI (Exempted Income) Sheet.
