10 December 2013 Dear sir I hav entered into transactions of 45 lakhs on 31/03/2013. I have neither charged service tax nor i hav taken registration no. Am i liable to register in service tax n pay to the govt. Dis is one tym transaction on las day of the f.y

10 December 2013 As per finance act 1994 when the gross income from service exceeds rs 9 lakhs then reg is to be done compulsorily and when it exceeds rs 10 lakhs then service tax is to be oaid compulsory.
