Liability of service tax-transfer of ownership from developr

01 November 2014 Dear Sir,

If a person bought land from government on lease for re devolopment purpose. due to financial hardship he is not being able to pay lease amount so now he wants to transfer ownership of land to another devloper. Will this attract service tax liability on the person who bought the land from goverment on lease. ?

01 November 2014 if construcion is done then service tax is attracted as per definition of Service contained in Clause (44) of Section 65B of the Act stated that Service includes Declared Service. as construction is included in declared servie so it will attract service tax
