Dear Experts, if one is running automobile service center, repairing and maintenance of two and four wheeler and his annual gross receipts is rs.1.25lk only, liable to service tax registration? under any provisions of service tax rules? he received notice from service tax office(CBEC)they demanding 3 years itr and trading account, what to reply them, suggest me. Thanks.

No you r not required to take St registration, under any rules , but make sure ur gross receipt does not exceed 8 lac both in cash or kind.
