Sir
I would like to know that Balance Leave Encashment is taxfree or Taxable and if taxable is there any working.
eg:- we have 21 leaves allowing during the year and for the balance we reimburse as salary paid during the year.
Please do the needful for the above.

Leave encashment received during the continuance of employment is always taxable under the head salary.
