Can you please tell me details about LBT(Local Body Tax). Its applicability, procedure for payment and if required to file return??

15 May 2013 In mumbai it is applicable from October 2013. It is tax payable on purchase. Every assesse whose turnover is above 1 lac is covered under LBT.

02 July 2013 As there was agitation by the traders and as the agitation was for more than 35 days the Govt. cannot impose this tax for next 3 years as there was some old notification
