In mumbai it is applicable from October 2013. It is tax payable on purchase. Every assesse whose turnover is above 1 lac is covered under LBT.

As there was agitation by the traders and as the agitation was for more than 35 days the Govt. cannot impose this tax for next 3 years as there was some old notification
