27 May 2012 In case the assesee has not filed return for AY 2010-11 and as now the last date of filing the return has gone then what is the way by which an assesse can now file the income tax return for AY 2010-11? However the assesse has filed Income Tax Return for AY 2011-12

27 May 2012 In case the assessee wants to meet his Tax Liability obligation he may request the ITO to issue a notice to him, so that he may file a return to discharge his tax liability.

In case of insignificant tax liability, this could be a costlier venture, so it is better, not to initiate such procedure.
