Late filling of form 112

26 June 2013 I have joined M.Com (external / correspondence course) during my 2nd year of articleship after completing B.com in Aug-2012. But I didn't File form 112 for M.Com because I had an idea that for correspondence course it is not required. After 3 months I come to know that form 112 is required to file so i submitted form 112 in dec 2012. then ICAI sent me letter stating to provade condonation letter & demand draft of Rs.300/- & other evidence.so I delievered all the required document with demand draft.Now, Institute sent me letter stating that condonation is granted & i can pursue M.Com but in this letter it is stated that my membership after completing final exam will delayed as per rull because of late filling of form 112.so I want to know for what period membership is delayed? & Is there any remedies to get membership in time?

26 June 2013 1)Yes, form 112 is mandatory for distance course also

2)as your delay less than one year ,your membership will be delayed for 3 months only..don't bother more on this

3)i don't think there is any remedy for this ,stand taken by icai is final..and it will gets delayed

4)only membership is delayed not your result so no worry more on this
