Whether late fees for non /late filing of GSTR-1 has been activated from June -2021?

09 July 2021 Rationalized late fee for GSTR-1, announced wide CGST notification 20/2021 dt. 01.06.2021 will be applicable from tax period June-2021. But not sure whether the said validation is operationalized in GST portal.
