Whether late fees for non /late filing of GSTR-1 has been activated from June -2021?

Rationalized late fee for GSTR-1, announced wide CGST notification 20/2021 dt. 01.06.2021 will be applicable from tax period June-2021. But not sure whether the said validation is operationalized in GST portal.

AS of now there is no such update on the portal and late fee levy is not seen on the portal while filing GSTR-1.
