hi,
Pls tell me the last date of TDS deposition in the month of March.
I m in confusion, whether it is 31st of march or 7th of April......

TDS other than salary - Within 2 Months from the last date of accounting year.
TDS on salary - withing 7 days from the end of accounting year.
TDS on salary - withing 7 days from the end of accounting year.

If TDS deducted on 31st March than it can be deposited with in 2 months i.e. up to 31st May (except for Salry Dividends etc 7th april)
If TDS deducted during the month of march before 31st March than it should be depsoited up to 7th of april.
If TDS deducted during the month of march before 31st March than it should be depsoited up to 7th of april.
