Sir, my query is weather Maternity benefit act 1961, is applicable for telangana or not, pls give your suggestion, its urgent

Hi,
Maternity Benefit Act is applicable to establishments irrespective of the number of females employed. Therefore, even if there is only one female employee the Act will be applicable and she will be eligible for maternity benefits.
So as per my understanding the same will also be applicable in telangana.
