Dear all
my company engaged in contract works and therefore engages contract labour.
is there any requirement to take licence from labour departement if yes then under which law like separate licence requirement would is for ESI,EPF and Contract labour act or one single licence is sufficeient and under which law.

Are you supply contract labour to other companies or taking services of contract labour firm/company.
If you are using contract labour supplied by other company, then you have to register your company under contract labour act.
Firm supplying contract labour is required to take licence from the deptt.
