27 January 2019 Dear Experts,
Pls clarify my following queries relate to job work :-
1) since we are job worker how the finish goods will be returned to principle manufacturer by which document.
2) some times we have returned the half of the goods after job work & rest later than what documents will be taken to return the goods.
3) when we will issue our invoice of job work to principle manufacturer" specify time of supply' date of supply etc, If any to be followed as per GST norms,

27 January 2019 1 use delivery challan and e way bill.
2 Same as above.
3 within 30 days from the completion of job work.

30 January 2019 Sir my query is :- suppose principle Mfg send us the raw materials than how many copy of challan principle Mfg will send along with the raw materials. And after job work whether we will return the goods with the challan of principle Mfg or we will made our delivery challan

31 January 2019 Sir Notification No. 18/2018- central tax, stated that the challan issued by the principle may be endorsed by the job worker indicating therein the quantity and description of goods. Where the goods are sent to one job worker to another job worker or are return to the principle,
Hence with the view of this Notifi. In my opinion No Need to make our own challan to return the goods to principle. As per notification goods may be returned after endorsement of principle challan mentioning therein the quantity & description of goods also date of endorsement I.e. date of return.etc. pls clarify am I correct...
