21 February 2014 WE ARE MFG. CO. OF ELECTRONICS GOODS, WE WANT TO SENT THE SEMI FINISHED GOODS TO THE JOBWORKER FOR THE ONE OF ANOTHER PROCESS, THE JOB WORKER IS ANOTHER STATE I.E.200 KM AROUND, I WANT TO KNOW THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO JOBWORK ONE STATE TO ANOTHER STATE.

21 February 2014 Yes it is possible for the principal manufacturer and the job worker to be situated in separate states.

However, you have to ensure that the material is received back within 180 days, otherwise you have to reverse the CENVAT credit taken earlier.
