Can anyone tell which version of excel utilities for ITR2 -AY 2017-18 we should use? I have tried PR6 & PR8 both but unable to upload xml document during e-filling.

Have you tried on latest utility? Try to submit the ITR in the Java utility. I'm sure the problem you will not face again. As I've filed many ITRs 2 for the said assessment year. No problem yet faced.
