Assesse does not claim HRA in form 16.Now , how he can get HRA as deduction in filing his return

while reporting income chargeable to income tax under head salaries deduct eligible HRA exemption and offer balance amounnt to income tax

You have to Calculate HRA deduction u/s 10(13A) and take as sec 10 deduction by that your taxable salary will reduce by HRA deduction amount and tax amount also.It will convert to excess tds deduction which will be refundable amount exact amount of HRA deduction.

you can calculate the HRA deduction u./s 10 and claim the HRA in retrun and file the return.
