This discussion addresses how to file an Income Tax Return (ITR) for someone whose primary income is from 'Hamali' (labour) work in a vegetable market, earning approximately £192,000 annually through weekly cash payments. The user inquires if ITR 1 is applicable and suggests declaring the income as salary. The advice given is that ITR 1 can be used if there are no other income sources, but the income might be classified under 'Income from Other Sources' (IFOS) if a direct employer-employee relationship isn't established.

If no other source of income, ITR 1 would be sufficient; but the Income would fall under IFOS, if there is no direct nexus of employer employee relationship.
