ITR notice received for gratuity claim is more than limit

23 December 2019 Hi Sir/Madam,

I've received the below notice for AY 2019-2020. This amount (34112) was received as a gratuity payout from my previous employer upon resignation. But this claim has not been accepted by IT. It seems like the claim is correct and the amount is very well below the threshold limit. Please advise.

29 May 2020 I think there should be some technical error because of which such notice is being served to you. You can reply with all the calculations and details to the notice. You may also visit the AO and explain the issue which seems should be resolved to your satisfaction by the department.
