ITR AY 22-23 was filed in Dec 2022 with late fee, but could not verified in stipulated time.It was treated by Deptt that ITR never filed. Can updated ITR be filed before March 2023 Or any other remedy is available. Ld. Experts Opinions are welcome.....Thanks

1. File condonation request to file ITR V for the ITR AY 2022-23 online, if accepted, you can e verify the ITR..
2. Updated return for AY 2022-23 can be filed from 01.04.2023.

Thank you Sir for your valuable opinion, but late fees deposited 1000/ for AY 22-23 wouId be adjusted in Updated ITR.

Well, you can verify it when you try to file updated return in April itself.
If you won't have any additional tax liability, you will not be able to file updated return.
